De-Webbing and Pheromone Blocker: Keeping Spiders and Wasps Away
What separates good pest control from the best? In this video, a TruBug technician explains why we de-web every single visit, and how a pheromone blocker helps keep wasps and spiders from coming back to the same spot.
Video Transcript
What separates the good from the best. It's de-webbing every single time and not just peeping over the eaves to see if you see any webs. Doesn't matter. You de-web every time.
And then you get a company that has the long pole to actually get into those high, high places.
The best part is, we'll put a pheromone blocker on the brush. It's a light, light powder that helps eradicate the pheromones that wasps and spiders like to leave.
Just like how a dog will take a leak to mark its territory, bugs do the exact same thing. And so we got to make sure we're getting rid of that pheromone so they're not trying to come back to that area and then re-mark the territory.

How De-Webbing and Pheromone Blockers Work Together
De-web every single time
We don't just peek over the eaves looking for webs. We de-web every visit, whether webs are visible or not.
A long pole for high places
Our technicians carry a long pole so they can actually reach the high, high places where webs and nests build up.
A pheromone blocker on the brush
A light powder on the brush helps eradicate the pheromones wasps and spiders leave behind to mark their territory, so they're less likely to come back and re-mark the area.
