Spiders
Spiders are air-breathing arthropods that have eight legs, chelicerae with fangs generally able to inject venom, and spinnerets that extrude silk.
Rats
Rats spend most of the day sleeping in its nest. Norway rats can burrow underground and can be found in damp places. Roof rats are nimble climbers and live in high places like attics or above drop ceilings. If residents notice a roof rat during the day, it could point to the presence of a larger population just out of sight.
German Roaches
The German cockroach is characterized by a flattened oval body, long threadlike antennae, and a shining black or brown leathery integument. These roaches are attracted to dirt and filth as a food source and clutter as a place to hide.
Oriental Roaches
Oriental Roaches are attracted to damp, moist areas, and they are also attracted to old food and garbage.
Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes are known to transmit serious diseases, including yellow fever, Zika fever, malaria, filariasis, and dengue.
Ants
Ants live in a complex social colony with one or more breeding queens. It is wingless except for fertile adults, which often form large mating swarms, and is proverbial for industriousness. Ants are attracted to grease, sugar, and water.
Earwigs
Earwigs hide during the day and live outdoors in large numbers. They can be found under piles of lawn clippings, compost or in tree holes. They enter buildings through cracks in the walls.
